Mum reveals her ongoing struggle at Christmas with three autistic boys

Kathrine remembers a Christmas party last year that was particularly difficult.

“We walked into the room and the music was blaring and the lights were flashing and there’s decorations everywhere so my eldest son, Oliver, just walked in and walked straight back out. He had complete sensory overload. We had to follow him and leave after five minutes or risk a meltdown scenario.”
