Having founded Spectrum Support in 2017, Kathrine Peereboom sits down with Get It Magazine’s Holly Bartter to share her story of family, forward thinking, and the work her charity is doing to educate law enforcement in understanding and managing ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in the field.
For Kathrine Peereboom, life is “quite hectic”. As a mother of three autistic nonverbal boys under the age of ten, Kathrine and her husband’s day starts at 4:30am. That’s if the family has been able to sleep through the night. “Even though our eldest is eight, it very much feels like we still have newborns at times,”
“Christmas in our home has had more misses than hits to be honest,” Katherine tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “But this year I think it will be different.
