In July 2003 Near West Coffee & Tea opened its new store on West 25th. 
NWC&T opened to the public in October 2003.  Conveniently located on West 25^th Street between the West Side Market and Lutheran Hospital, NWC&T offers delectable pastries baked fresh daily to complement the cappuccino, cafe mocha, or herbal tea.  With a comfortable ambiance, guests are welcome to savor their specialty coffees and teas under the warm glow of the loft and unique artwork displayed throughout the shop.  Our coffee is roasted locally, delivered daily, and ground to perfection for your satisfaction.  We also offer gourmet ice cream that is hand made locally to ensure the fullness of flavor.
